Project Team
Project Overview
Located in Nedlands, the Thomas Street development comprises five bespoke residences designed to introduce a considered, high-density housing offering within an established inner-city neighbourhood. Responding to recent zoning changes, the project supports increased housing diversity while maintaining alignment with the surrounding urban fabric.
The architecture draws from the eclectic character of Nedlands and nearby Dalkeith, where contemporary forms sit alongside mid-century and traditional influences. A restrained material palette of white render, stone cladding and articulated facades defines the built form, creating a composition that is both minimal and contextually grounded. Set within mature vegetation, the development balances clarity of form with a softer landscape presence.
Each residence is designed to prioritise liveability, flexibility and long-term use. Efficient planning maximises internal amenity, with adaptable spaces including home offices and lower-level configurations that support evolving living arrangements. Living areas are oriented to capture northern light, while landscaped setbacks and deep soil zones enhance privacy, outlook and overall residential quality.
