Relationships are the cornerstone of everything we do
Getting to know the people behind each project, understanding what matters to them, and how we can leave their living experience even better than we found it.
That same approach extends to the wider team around each project too, working closely with consultants, builders, and other creatives to make sure great ideas are executed to the highest standard.
Graduate of Architecture
Zoe brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to the studio’s work, with a strong appreciation for materiality, spatial clarity, and the way architecture shapes everyday life.
At ZARQ, she contributes across all stages of the design process – from early concepts and client engagement through to detailed documentation and on-site coordination – helping ensure each project is both beautifully considered and practical to deliver.
Founder & Lead Architect
For Zac, the most rewarding part of architecture has always been seeing a project through from the earliest thinking right through to the finished outcome.
After years of experience across residential and commercial projects in both Melbourne and Perth, that mindset ultimately led to the founding of ZARQ: a Perth architecture studio built around close collaboration and balancing bold ideas with real-world practicality.
Alongside his work in practice, Zac has also contributed to the broader design community through mentoring roles with the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Western Australia and the Kaleidoscope Initiative through the City of Stirling. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Architects and is registered with the Architects Board of WA.

Every project begins with an introductory conversation to understand the site, the brief, and the kind of outcome you’re looking to create.
From there, we move into a more detailed briefing and consultation phase, shaping the project scope, priorities, and opportunities.
With a strong foundation in place, the project can progress through design and delivery with clear step-by-step stages.
