Barker Road

ZARQ was invited to provide interior design services on a circo-1940’s art-deco style unit in Subiaco. This 42sqm unit was originally very compartmentalised and highly inefficient providing little flow and natural light through the floorplate. ZARQ was also tasked with injecting personality into the space that was a reflection of the client and their brand. The resolved floorplan provides an open plan style kitchen, dining and living area which has the ability to convert into a bedroom. Built-in cabinetry provides better use of space and storage. The floorplan also includes a study nook, library and reading nook, making the most of every square meter of this studio apartment.
