ZARQ was commissioned to design two grouped style dwellings along Alma Rd in Mount Lawley. Both dwellings share similar qualities but are very distinctive in their built form and materiality. The north-south orientation of the two lots provided great northern aspect and opportunity to utilise the rear portion of the block as generous open space and entertaining area which is linked to open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas. Well considered spatial planning has resulted in efficient floorplates, provision for courtyards and multiple aspects to living spaces, making the most of two narrow sites.
